I had been suffering a lot of pain for a while in my right leg. My toes were frequently numb and I dragged my leg a bit when walking. The pain prevented me from sleeping.
The GP gave me painkillers. I was given a self referral to see a physiotherapist. I was told it was a trapped nerve.
None of this stopped the pain I was in.
I contacted Jennie.
She did a range of motion assessment on me, spent time talking with me and listening to me. I had to rate different aspects of my issue on a score of 1 to 10.
Jennie quickly set to work. She found the trigger points and was so gentle in her approach. It was quite an intense time but Jennie expertly worked her excellent skills on the problem areas. I was able to continuously rate my pain threshold using a simple traffic light system so I was totally in control of what I felt comfortable with…
Jennie was sensitive , patient and had excellent communication skills.
The treatment left me feeling quite tired. But I was 100% confident in Jennie’s skills and ability!
At the end of the session, Jennie reassessed my range of movements and my pain levels. They had improved SIGNIFICANTLY! I was quite taken aback by the difference in such a short space of time!
Within 24 hours, I had the BEST sleep I’d had in months and the pain was so much better. In fact I haven’t had any painkillers since that first treatment with Jennie!
My journey to completely fix the issues is ongoing. Jennie gave me exercises to do and advised me on the aftercare I needed.
I have now had my second session as well and I have no pain now and my range of movements is already so much better. I went from a 9/10 for pain at night to 2/10 after only 1 session!
I am in awe of what Jennie has done. She is so knowledgeable about the anatomy and explained and taught me as she went along.
I HIGHLY recommend Jennie as a clinical massage therapist. She provides a 5 star service. Professional. Knowledgeable. Skilful. Approachable. Gentle. Intuitive. And IT WORKS!

I am writing to express my gratitude and wholehearted endorsement of Jennie at Serenity, an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist, who has made an extraordinary contribution to my health and well-being.
Following more than 3 years of treatment for invasive HER2+ grade 3 breast cancer, I was left with debilitating Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN). The constant pain (including burning, shooting and/or stabbing pains in my feet - along with increased pain response to something that should not be painful - such as socks, gloves and bedclothes); and a complete lack of genuine feeling in my feet and fingers severely impacted my quality of life. Being unable to play with my youngest grandchildren as they 'hurt' me with simple touches was particularly upsetting. Moreover, I felt that I had lost my independence because I was unable to drive
I struggled to find relief. That is, until Macmillan (cancer support) suggested that massage may help - so I began seeing Jennie.
Jennie's holistic approach has been transformative. She started with a comprehensive clinical assessment, understanding not only my physical condition but also my emotional and psychological needs. Managing the latter enabled me to have a more positive mindset about my CIPN - I could do something about it myself!
Her expert monthly massage sessions, my new 'CIPN positive mindset' and Macmillan recommended exercises have completely stopped my pain and improved my overall well-being.
I am currently left with just slight tingling and some loss of sensation - but NO PAIN.
Jennie's treatments have been a crucial part of my journey to living a pain-free life including driving and robust play with my young grandchildren - one of whom recently said "I have never known you not poorly till now Nanny", with a huge smile on her face!
Jennie's professionalism, empathy, and dedication to her craft are, in my experience, unparalleled. Her ability to combine clinical expertise with a compassionate touch has made all the difference.
I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking relief and healing through advanced clinical massage therapy.

I went to Jennie with a stiff neck and shoulder pain that was really bothering me. Jennie did range of motion tests to see what muscles were affected and gave me a fantastic treatment using different massage techniques and has a wonderful caring attitude too. I had a great result with less pain and better movement after. Jennie is a very knowledgeable therapist with many years experience who works hard to get a good outcome. I will be going back and highly recommend Jennie!

I recently had an amazing clinical massage treatment with Jennie, and I can't recommend it highly enough! She took the time to listen to my specific needs and tailored the treatment accordingly. Using a combination of deep tissue techniques and stretching has really helped to alleviate the tightness in my neck and shoulders and improve my range of movement. I'll definitely be booking in for more sessions with Jennie

I went to Jennie to help with right shoulder pain which I had had for about 3 months. She gave me a wonderful massage and relieved the pain almost completely in the first session. I have some stretches and homework to do before the next session, when I expect the problem will be fully resolved. Today's hot stone massage by Jennie was so relaxing than it send me to sleep. I slept through a police raid in neighbourhood, my son's 2 phone calls as I was suppose to pick him up from school and woke up eventually. Very effective MASSAGE indeed!😉🤪

I HIGHLY recommend tranquility lift face massage It’s an incredibly intense relaxing treatment and so so gentle.....and it’s a double whammy because when Jennie’s magic hands are done, you don’t just feel amazing, you also look so much “brighter”. I just couldn’t get over the difference around my eye area. The puffiness had gone completely!😲 It’s hard to put this treatment into words. It’s quite unbelievable and I absolutely loved it! I had the Sleeping Beauty Ritual, and it was fantastic! I added on a full body exfoliation in preparation for my holiday. I then had a back and shoulder massage, and Jennie really sorted out the knots in my upper back! That was followed by a foot and lower leg massage, a facial and a scalp massage...bliss! I must recommend Jennie. She is absolutely amazing and extremely tentative. I have a severe anaphylactic shock to nuts and there is macadamia nut in many of massage oils, this is not a problem for Jennie as she deep cleans every piece of equipment she uses on me, she even insisted on me showing her how my EpiPen would be administered should it be needed. I have had 2 massage sessions now and 1 with the hot stones they both was incredible.
